The order Hemiptera, also known as the true bugs, includes cicadas and stink bugs. There are 80,000 species, and they live both on land and in water. The head is in small triangular shape, and the thorax is in inverted triangular shape. The mouth resembles a needle, which makes it easier for piercing and sucking up foods. Except the ones that feed off the body fluids of other insects, most other insects in the order Hemiptera are pests that feed off the sap out of plants.
