The order Mantodea includes insects like the Chinese Mantis and the Asian Jumping Mantis, and there are around 2,300 different species. Their forlegs are designed like a sharp sickle to hold their prey. The legs also have many tiny needles, making it possible to not only hold insects, but also to hold frogs and lizards. After mating, the female will randomly eat anything it sees, sometimes even eating the male.
